Pressure-Reducing Valve PRV-1A

Description

The PRV-1A is designed and assembled for pressure control. It is used on water-filled pipes when it is necessary to reduce a higher inlet pressure to a lower delivery pressure. The valve design uses the DV-5A valve body, incorporating the simple diaphragm design, and are available in flange-by-flange and grooved-by-grooved connections. The PRV-1A valve is intended to automatically maintain the outlet “set pressure” (static and residual) within a close range, regardless of pressure or flow rate fluctuations. The factory outlet “set pressure” is approximately 125 psi. This model can be used with the main header to supply wet pipes, dry pipes, deluge, or preaction system risers. It can also be used as part of a floor control assembly to supply sprinkler systems and hose stations.
